The linear collection is the result of formal research which questions the effects of the line and the right angle. A rectangular area demarcated on the canvas accommodates a mass of scenes, drippings and pictorial accidents in multiple colors. The rectilinear form being more rigid, the works in this series are decidedly powerful and characterful. 

 

When she creates a painting from this series, the artist channels her energy into lively, jerky and agitated gestures which feverishly invade the pictorial space.
